Most sports fans get plenty of enjoyment out of going to see their favorite team play live, maybe even with a little tailgating before the game, and if they're lucky, watching court, field, or rink-side seats. Yet, for the average sports fan (and even the diehard), the access tends to end there.
Fandeavor wants to change that. The Las Vegas-based startup is launching today to give sports fans access to the field, court, broadcast booth, locker room, athletes and coaches -- the types of exclusive experiences that are typically reserved for corporate sponsors or those with deep pockets. To do so, the company is also announcing that it has raised $525K in seed funding from Tony Hsieh's
VegasTechFund (a new seed-stage investment fund
that focuses on incubating and investing in tech startups in Las Vegas) as well as
Erik Moore, Moore, an early investor in Zappos.
