iOS 6 wants: Files app and documents picker with iCloud

For a couple of years now, before every major release of iOS, I've begged and pleaded for a native iOS Files.app repository. Not a file system like OS X, but something that would do for documents what Photos.app and the photo picker do for images. I wanted a Files.app before iOS 4 was released. I really wanted a Files.app before iOS 5 was released. And now that we have iCloud and Documents in the Cloud, I want Files.app more than ever for iOS 6.
